A group of tourists on bicycles were booed by locals. The incident occurred in Valencia, where the travelers entered a section where bicycles are completely prohibited. Published footage shows passersby expressing displeasure and gesturing to the cyclists to leave the pedestrian area.
In Valencia, cycling is a popular way to explore the city: there are dozens of kilometers of bike paths and hiking trails along the coast and through Turia Park. However, in historic districts such as El Carmen and the old city center, cycling is prohibited to protect pedestrian safety and prevent congestion on narrow streets.
