An entire subway line was closed in Prague because a puppy ran into a tunnel
A shepherd puppy, who appeared out of nowhere in a Prague metro tunnel, disrupted train service on line A in central Prague for five hours on Thursday.
"Around 9:00 a.m. (10:00 a.m. Moscow time), a shepherd puppy, approximately one year old, ran out of nowhere onto the tracks at the Motol metro station and headed through the tunnel toward the city center. Power was immediately cut off at several stations on this line. Buses were diverted to replace trains. It took a long time to catch the puppy, as it proved to be fast and agile. It was only after 2:00 p.m. (3:00 p.m. Moscow time) that it was finally captured, after it ran out of the metro station onto Malostroské Square in the heart of Prague's Old Town," Daněk said.
According to him, a significant number of Prague police officers and firefighters participated in the capture. The puppy is currently in police custody, where police officers are now trying to determine who the dog's owner is.
