Yamaha showed what the bike of the future will look like (5 photos + 1 video)
I've brought you something interesting from the internet. Of course, it's highly unlikely that we'll see such a miracle in the vastness of our country anytime soon, but it's still a very interesting model.
Yamaha has rolled out the MOTOROiD 2—a concept bike that looks like something out of "Cyberpunk 2077." It's not just a motorcycle, but a living robot on wheels that balances itself, recognizes its owner by his face, and follows you around like a loyal dog. They showed it off live at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, and it's pure adrenaline for those who love technology with a passion.
Let's take a look at what makes this bike a true cyberpunk monster. Its main feature is the AMCES (Active Mass Center Control System) self-balancing system. It shifts the center of gravity inward so the bike stays planted even without a kickstand, doesn't fall over on turns, and doesn't require you to perform acrobatics at traffic lights.
Imagine: you approach it, and it gets up and follows you to the parking lot. No falls, even if you're a beginner or tired after a long drive.
The AI here is top-notch: it recognizes your face and responds to gestures and voice commands. Just wave your hand, and it follows you. There are no traditional handlebars—instead, integrated grips in the body create a sci-fi feel. The rear swingarm rotates, making the bike maneuverable like a drone. And the LEAF's structure makes movements organic, as if the bike were alive and understood without words.
The performance specifications are impressive for a concept: an electric motor (the power output hasn't been revealed, but it's enough for city riding and stunts), an autonomous mode for parking or following, and AI based on cameras and sensors. It's approximately 2 meters long and lightweight thanks to its composite construction. Exact figures for the MOTOROiD 2 haven't been released yet.
How do you like this beauty?
