A shelter dog with character
Sometimes animals can surprise people with their individuality and character. A six-year-old dog named Don Luis was thought to be blind, but it turned out he was deliberately ignoring people.
It all began with concerns at a Chilean animal shelter for one of their residents, the calm and reserved Don Luis. He didn't respond to anything around him: not to toys, not to people, not to movement. The staff even suspected he might be blind.
To clarify the situation, they took him to the veterinarian. Imagine the staff's surprise when they discovered the dog wasn't blind—he was simply ignoring everyone around him.
During his examination, Don Luis quickly proved he had excellent vision, but only responded when he wanted to. Now, Don Luis is looking for a family willing to appreciate his independent nature.
