An ultra-expensive mobile home with a Bugatti has been halved in price (8 photos)
In 2021, the German company Volkner Mobil unveiled the luxury Performance S motorhome, which cost the customer €6.5 million, in part because it included a Bugatti Chiron. At the time, it was (unofficially) the most expensive campervan on the planet. Now, according to Autoevolution, the company has put it back on sale, this time for €2.8 million, and the Bugatti hypercar has been replaced with a modified Ferrari F8.
This Performance S variant was originally designed as a luxury mobile home for a family with two children. The custom interior design is complemented by carefully selected finishing materials and furniture crafted from fine wood, designed specifically for the motorhome. The Burmester home audio system alone cost $300,000.
The design includes a compact car garage, a retractable platform built between the axles. It originally housed a Bugatti Chiron, but it is no longer included. The widow of the Volkner Performance S customer, who decided to put the bus up for sale after her husband's death, did not want to part with the hypercar. Therefore, Volkner included a Ferrari F8 tuned by Novitec with the motorhome. However, the supercar can be forgone and the motorhome alone is purchased. In this case, the price drops to €2,235,000.
The 12-meter vehicle is based on a Volvo chassis with a 460-horsepower engine. Its mileage is approximately 20,000 kilometers.
