This is done for his peace of mind, the actor's wife claims.

American actor Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with progressive frontotemporal dementia, now lives separately from his family in a house with round-the-clock medical care. This was reported by his wife, actress Emma Heming, in an interview with ABC.

According to her, the disease gradually deprives Willis of the ability to speak, and the brain stops working as before. Despite this, the actor remains physically in good condition and partially recognizes family members. For Bruce's convenience, the family chose a one-story building, where noises that can cause irritation to patients with such a diagnosis are minimized.

Emma explained that the decision was difficult, but necessary for the comfort of the most respected actor and his children.

"This is one of the most difficult decisions in my life. But I understood that Bruce himself would want our children to live in a house that would be more suitable for their needs, and not for him," says Heming, explaining that the family lived with the actor for a long time in a house where everything was adapted to his needs. However, everyone else felt discomfort: the children were forbidden to make noise, talk loudly, friends stopped visiting them - everything was done so that unnecessary noises would not irritate the actor. It was very difficult, but now Willis has truly comfortable conditions.

He has professional doctors and medical workers in his home who provide him with assistance around the clock. His wife noted that they have learned to communicate with Bruce in a new way and appreciate every moment spent with him.

When the actor himself feels well, he can even play sports - Willis's relatives recently posted a video of him actively spinning a hula hoop.

The actor's diagnosis became known at the beginning of 2023, and since then he has hardly appeared in public.

Bruce Willis has played about 150 roles in films, including such cult films as Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element and others. Now he is 69 years old, and he is still loved and remembered by millions of viewers around the world.
