In Pennsylvania, a groundhog got stuck in a toy arcade. Rescuers had to free the animal.
In the US state of Pennsylvania, an unusual "prize" was found in a soft toy arcade - a live groundhog. It is unclear how the animal managed to get there. This was reported on social media by the Pennsylvania State Wildlife Conservation Commission.
The arcade where the animal got into is located on the territory of the local Meadows Family Fun mini-golf club. Having noticed a marmot in the machine, the employees got scared and called the rescuers. The animal could not get out of the box on its own.
However, in the photos published on social networks, the marmot seems to look happy: it bravely looks out from under a pile of soft toys and curiously examines itself in the mirror.
A wildlife commissioner arrived at the scene and contacted the company that manufactured the slot machine, and received permission to open it. The rescuer helped the marmot escape safely and released it into the wild safe and sound.
