The world's first powerful mirror-solar power plant with two towers has been launched in China. In Gansu Province, there is a field of 30,000 mirrors that direct light onto 200-meter spires. There, a special salt solution is heated, turns into steam, and turns turbines. The annual capacity is 1.8 billion kWh, which is enough for about 170 thousand homes.
