A bear visited an ice cream parlor in California (3 photos + 1 video)
Early Sunday morning, a brown bear broke into an ice cream parlor in Lake Tahoe, California. The bear walked up to the counter and picked out an ice cream treat.
An alarm went off, and law enforcement officers rushed to the scene. They "could hardly believe their eyes."
Photos released by the sheriff's office show the bear looking guiltily at the camera, as if realizing he had committed a crime.
The furry sweet tooth left the scene, but not before enjoying the strawberry ice cream. He tried a variety of flavors, leaving behind overturned trays and paw prints on the display case.
The incident was not serious. Only a little cleaning and replacement of the assortment was required.
"We are almost certain that he did not mean any harm," said manager William Boas. “But all the ice cream had to be replaced.”
