In Seoul, a fisherman filmed an “unidentified creature”
A resident of a South Korean city captured an unknown object or creature appearing on the surface of the water on video.
A video from South Korea is gaining popularity online, which allegedly shows an unidentified creature in the Han River.
The video of the mysterious creature was published by the author of the fishing channel "Chongdam Story" on YouTube. The man was fishing at night near the National Assembly building in the Yeouido district of Seoul and noticed that something large rose to the surface of the water. Initially, he assumed that it was a large fish, but upon closer inspection, he panicked.
The footage shows a black, thick and long creature slowly moving along the surface of the water. According to the fisherman, it remained in one place for about 20 minutes, constantly moving.
"I've been fishing for decades, but I've never seen anything like this," he added.
Official services have not yet commented on the video, but environmentalists are calling for people not to panic and reminding that large species such as otters and large sturgeons live in the Khan River, although their sizes rarely exceed 2–3 meters.
