The EVNautilus research team filmed an octopus that spread its tentacles and turned into a huge ball. This behavior is considered a defensive tactic - the octopus makes itself visually larger to scare off predators.
Scientists also suggest that this technique may be associated with communication between individuals or even reproduction.
