A Buddhist monk shot another monk because of music (3 photos)
A Buddhist monk recently shot and killed another monk. The man lost his temper because the monk was listening to loud music on his phone. It seems that even years of meditation and the attainment of nirvana are powerless against such things.
Yarulek, a 47-year-old monk from a Buddhist temple in Muang district (Phuket province, Thailand), was arrested for murder.
The body of the victim, a 36-year-old monk named Niwat, was found in the toilet of the temple. The man was shot in the neck, arm and chest, from which he died, and the killer locked himself in his room. But the police officers who arrived managed to convince the criminal monk to surrender himself and hand over his firearm.
The tragedy was caused by the monks, who lived side by side in the same temple, not getting along very well and irritating each other greatly. On that unfortunate tragic day, Nivat, entering the toilet, turned on too loud music on his mobile phone, which provoked the angry Jarulek to open fire on the hated person.
