President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the site of the Russian missile strike on a house in the Solomensky district of Kyiv. The head of state reported this on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
"I honored the memory of the victims. This vile strike on a house in the middle of the night took the lives of 23 civilians. My condolences to their families and friends. We continue to help all the victims.
This shelling is a reminder to the world that Russia rejects the ceasefire and chooses murder. I am grateful to all our partners who understand that Ukraine must become stronger every day. I am grateful to everyone who is ready to put pressure on Moscow so that they feel the real price of war," he noted.
On the night of June 17, 2025, Russian occupiers launched a massive attack on Kyiv with drones and missiles of various types. As of 16:00 on June 18, 28 people were killed in Kyiv as a result of this attack, another 142 people were wounded.
