F-16 in Ukraine, - Zelensky showed the first received Western fighters
On August 4, on Air Force Day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky officially confirmed that the F-16 is already in Ukraine. This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the head of state's statement on Telegram.
"The F-16 is in Ukraine. We have ensured this. I am proud of all our guys who are mastering these aircraft well and have already started using them for our country. I thank our team for this result," the president said.
Zelensky called the appearance of F-16 aircraft in Ukraine "a new stage" in the development of the Ukrainian Air Force. According to him, the Ukrainian military has already begun to use Western aircraft.
In addition, Zelensky thanked all partners who effectively help with these fighters, as well as the first states that "accepted our request for the provision of aircraft - Denmark, the Netherlands, the United States."
