Well, sorry, it's not my fault: Canadian wins big in lottery for the fourth time (3 photos)

11 June 2025

He himself realizes that even a single win in life is a great success, and his example is from the realm of fantasy.

Canadian David Serkin won the lottery for the fourth time in his life. The winnings amounted to one million dollars. Earlier in 2024, he was lucky twice in the lotteries in August (half a million dollars) and in November (one million dollars). And the very first time David won 250 thousand 12 years ago.

The man doesn't understand how this happens. He simply buys a lottery ticket, realizing that "a shell doesn't hit the same crater twice." However, his personal example proves that this rule is wrong.

A resident of Lethbridge, located about 130 miles south of Calgary, has been buying lottery tickets for more than 40 years. He has had many difficulties in his life. The Canadian had cancer, recovered, retired. Now he doesn't think about the distant future. He just enjoys life, his family, and winning the lottery. He found out about his latest win over a cup of coffee, checking tickets with his family.

He spent part of his November winnings on helping friends, and also took his wife on a trip to Maui, and now he's planning to see Newfoundland.
