Many American schools give students special cases to put their gadgets in. They are locked when entering the school. 
American school students are given smartphone locking cases — they are locked with a special magnet when entering and opened when leaving.
These are currently used in thousands of schools across the country — many schools are implementing them on their own initiative, but eight out of 50 states have introduced a ban on cell phones by law.
