28-year-old Kelsey Hopeful has been in a relationship with 76-year-old Guy Bongiovanni for six years and does not regret her choice.





As Hopeful says, she met the older man at a yoga class. Bongiovanni started going to them to cope with the loss of his wife. Soon the girl and the man began to be friends and two years later they entered into an official relationship.



According to Hopeful, there is only one downside to having a boyfriend who is 48 years older than her. The girl is worried that Bongiovanni will soon pass away and she will not be able to forget him. Hopeful admitted that she used to often cry alone, realizing that her lover "has fewer years left than she does."





The girl was afraid to tell her friends and family about Bongiovanni for a long time, especially her grandmother. Hopeful explained that her grandmother was also in a relationship with an older man. He died early, and she mourned his loss for 26 years. The girl added that she was afraid of ending up in the same situation.



In the spring of 2020, the girl finally decided to tell her loved ones about Bongiovanni. To her surprise, they all reacted positively to her choice. According to her, she is never bored with her boyfriend: they attend performances together, go hiking and travel a lot.



Hopeful emphasized that Bongiovanni teaches her to be true to her heart and not be afraid to be herself. "Being old and wise, he says there's no point in crying about death until it happens, and that we need to be here now and love each other as much as we can," she quoted her boyfriend as saying.
