A rare Russian multiple launch rocket system, the Uragan-1M, was destroyed near the village of Kulemzino in the Kursk region. This happened as a result of a strike by an American HIMARS MLRS, which was the first documented case of the destruction of this system. As reported by Censor.NET, the Uragan-1M is one of the newest developments of the Russian defense industry, designed to replace the outdated Uragan and Smerch systems. It is equipped with a digital fire control system and is capable of using both 220-mm and 300-mm rockets. Thanks to this, the system has increased mobility and accuracy of hitting targets.
