A Possum Decided to Settle in a Birdhouse and Got Stuck There (5 photos)

There's nothing better than coming home to a cozy house at the end of a long day and settling in for a nap. At least that's what this possum thought.





But here's the problem - the little animal chose the wrong house, which was not meant for him at all. The possum decided to settle in a birdhouse and quickly discovered that the opening of the birdhouse was too small and narrow for his plump, furry body.







The unfortunate possum is stuck, but he can be happy that specialists from the organization "ACT Wildlife" (Australia) came to his rescue.



However, the rescuers had to tranquilize the irritated captive so that he would not twitch and not interfere with the rescue of him from a piece of wood. Soon the possum woke up from anesthesia in a veterinary clinic and was probably glad that the intolerable birdhouse was a thing of the past.



The people from "ACT Wildlife" are also happy, because they safely released the animal into the wild and advised him not to get into such troubles again.
