Air show: a guest hangs from a helicopter at a wedding
Weddings are a time for surprises. But at the celebration of music star Prince Indah in Kenya, guests were treated to a rather unusual impromptu performance - a man who decided to literally fly away from the party.
28-year-old Stephen Odhiambo Ouma, known to locals as Asalom Komando, decided that a wedding without adventures is not a wedding. When the helicopter carrying the newlyweds began to rise into the air, Stephen clung to it.
A few minutes before takeoff, he was talking to passengers inside. A security guard tried to take him away from the aircraft - which, it would seem, should have put an end to the story. But Stephen returned. And this time with a new plan - to check whether he could hold on to the skids as well as he fixes bicycles.
Before the pilot realized that he was transporting a bonus passenger, the helicopter had already managed to rise above the wedding location. Witnesses heard a scream, and the transport was quickly landed in a nearby field. Steven admitted that he was very happy about the landing, because he began to get tired during the flight.
The festive flight ended in an arrest - the police visited the craftsman at home on April 14, where, according to law enforcement, he resisted. Three officers had to calm him down. He faces charges of endangering himself and passengers.
The "stuntman's" motives are not too complicated: he wanted to ride a helicopter and, perhaps, get some financial assistance.
