At 11 a.m., the engine of the aircraft, which was supposed to take off from Orlando, caught fire. Rescuers evacuated about 300 people using inflatable slides.
Daily Sabah reported that there were 282 passengers, 10 flight attendants, and two pilots on the plane.
According to Fox35, which cites the US Civil Aviation Administration, the Airbus A330 was preparing to take off for Atlanta. When the plane began moving along the runway, a flame appeared in one of its engines.
