A giant python attacked a rescuer and wrapped itself around his neck (5 photos)

In Thailand, doctors saved an elderly rescuer who was attacked and almost strangled by a giant four-meter-long python.





The incident occurred in Bangkok on Tuesday, April 1. A woman named Oh called the rescue service and said that two pythons had gotten into her house. The Thai woman had seven cats. The snakes had killed one of them, and four more had disappeared somewhere.



Only one rescuer arrived at the call — 68-year-old Jarun Marbkhuntod. By that time, Oh had managed to find where one of the snakes was hiding. The elderly snake catcher grabbed the boa constrictor by the head with one hand and by the tail with the other. However, for some reason, the man let go of the snake's tail and it wrapped itself around his neck. Oh tried to help the rescuer, but was unable to. Marbkhuntod lost consciousness.





After that, Oh caught the python with the help of neighbors and put it in a bag. The second snake crawled out of the woman's house. Marbkhuntod's colleagues arrived at the scene and took him to the hospital.
