A British woman had rhinoplasty and left her husband, deciding that she was now “too good for him” (3 photos)
Devin Aiken from Philadelphia said that a nose job not only changed her appearance, but also helped her rethink her life. After the procedure, on which she spent $11,000, the woman realized that she no longer wanted to stay in an unhappy marriage.
She got married at 23, but over time she realized that the relationship with her husband had run its course.
"I felt like I was stuck in this union simply because that's how it was 'supposed to be.'" But after the surgery, I had clarity: I chose myself,” Aiken shared.
She admits that insecurity about her appearance has haunted her since childhood. At school, she was teased as “toucan” and “Pinocchio” because of the shape of her nose.
“It was something I couldn’t control, and it left a deep mark,” Devin recalls.
Now the woman feels “happy and independent,” shares her story and inspires others. Devin is optimistic about the future: she plans to travel, meet new people, and most importantly, never again “settle for less than she deserves.”
