In 2014, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and during this difficult time, she was given a horse named Jasmine, who became not only a support for Amy, but also her best friend. However, the woman's husband perceived the animal's appearance as a threat - he felt that she was paying more attention to the horse than to her household duties.

The disagreements escalated when Amy got a tattoo of a jasmine flower and a horseshoe. The husband accused his wife of devoting too little time to him and demanded that she get rid of the horse. Instead, Amy decided to get rid of her husband - the couple divorced.
