The plane caught fire right after landing right on the runway.
An American Airlines plane caught fire at Denver International Airport. There were 172 passengers and six crew members on board at the time. The landing was unplanned, but forced due to engine problems. The plane did not make it to Dallas, its final destination.
A fire broke out right after landing, and due to heavy smoke, passengers were forced to stand on the wing of the plane, waiting for evacuation. Eyewitnesses of this story, who were present at the airport at that moment, made several videos of the incident.
Fortunately, all passengers and crew members were saved, but 12 people were taken to the hospital after the evacuation. The cause of the fire is still unclear, but this is far from the first incident with Boeing, and the manufacturer of these aircraft no longer comments on stories involving its airliners.
It is known that the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) will conduct an investigation into the incident, based on the results of which it will be possible to find those responsible.
