Iconic Ferrari and Lamborghini supercars stood in grandma's garage for 20 years (6 photos)
Abandoned Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari 308 supercars were discovered in the USA. For the last 20 years, they have been standing neglected in the garage of a pensioner's house. This is reported by Focus.
Supercars from the 80s were accidentally found by the grandson of an American woman. One day, he visited his grandmother and decided to look into the garage, which he had not opened for a long time. Under piles of old clothes and other junk, he discovered a Ferrari 308 and a Lamborghini Countach.
It is worth noting that the American woman's husband was the owner of a supercar rental company. After its bankruptcy in the early 2000s, he sold most of the cars, but he left these two cars. He passed away soon after, and the cars remained in the garage. Important
The condition of the supercars leaves much to be desired and they are not able to move independently, and the Lamborghini does not have a steering wheel. However, they are now being restored, because these are valuable collector's models.
For example, the price of a 1981 Lamborghini Countach reaches $500,000. This is the LP500S version with a 4.8-liter V12 with 380 hp, which is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and developing 293 km/h.
The Ferrari 308 is much cheaper - it costs about $ 80,000. The year of release and model version have not yet been established, but it is known that such supercars were equipped with a 3.0-liter V8 with a capacity of 205 to 255 forces.
