Drone attack on Russia: Air defense was in operation in Smolensk region

The governor of the region Vasily Anokhin confirmed the information about the drone attack on the region.
It is noted that the drones were flying towards an oil depot in the city of Yartsevo in the Smolensk region. Air defense allegedly worked over the city.
Local residents reported that they heard up to seven explosions. Several fires broke out in Smolensk against the backdrop of a drone attack.
According to local publics, drone debris fell on a residential building in the Zadneprovsky district of Smolensk. Eyewitnesses write that the drone crashed into the roof of the house, causing a fire. The blast wave knocked out the windows on the top floor of the house. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties.
Recall that on the night of January 20, residents of Kazan reported explosions over the city. The "Carpet" mode was introduced at the Kazan airport. The Russians reported an attack on the aircraft and helicopter plants.
