A robot guitar that plays any melody

Engineer Michael Kuzma has created a robot guitar that plays any melody on its own. As an example, here is the soundtrack from The Last of Us.

Mechanical components press the strings with surgical precision and produce sounds, turning the instrument into an autonomous jukebox.

Unlike traditional music boxes, this guitar can play almost any composition loaded into its electronic brain. The robotic fingers never get tired or lose rhythm. It seems that the era of robot musicians has already arrived.
