A 53-year-old French resident named Anna became a victim of a fraudster who impersonated Brad Pitt. The woman sent the attacker about 830 thousand euros. This was reported by French media.

Anna said that it all started in 2023, when she first registered on social networks to share family photos. At that time, the woman lived with her millionaire husband and daughter and, according to her, nothing foreshadowed trouble.



After registering on social networks, the victim was first contacted by a woman who introduced herself as Brad Pitt's mother. She said that her son needed exactly such a life partner. After some time, Anna began communicating with "Brad Pitt himself", because she believed that she was texting the actor.

The woman admitted that she had long doubted whether she was really communicating with Pitt. She was convinced by the numerous photographs that the actor sent her. According to the media, the fraudster generated these images using neural networks.
