Soldiers of the 67th Separate Motorized Brigade repelled an assault by Russians who wanted to break through to Sumy region, - DeepState
Soldiers of the 67th separate mechanized brigade showed footage of repelling the assault of Russian invaders across the border from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation in the direction of the village of Zhuravka in the Sumy region. This was reported by analysts of the monitoring project DeepState, Censor.NET reports.
"The enemy has accumulated along the border in the area of Zhuravka and tried to carry out assault actions on the settlement, but the units of the Defense Forces made these attempts unsuccessful. Repeated attempts are expected, because the enemy has resources there," the report says.
When exactly the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled the assault of the occupiers is not specified, but analysts note that in recent days the activity in the Kursk region has somewhat subsided compared to last week.
"Basically, assault actions continue in the direction of Lebedevka-Sverdlikovo and battles for control over the village of Nikolayevo-Daryino," DeepState writes.
Earlier, the Sumy OVA reported that the information that Russian troops allegedly broke through the border near the settlements of Zhuravka and Prokhody in the Sumy region is not true.
