One person was killed and another was injured. According to Nevada State Police, pipes, traces of chemicals, and powder from fireworks were found at the scene. The FBI said a group of two to five people were involved in the incident. According to some reports, authorities are treating the incident as an act of terrorism.

According to NBC News, one person was killed and seven were injured as a result of the explosion near Trump International Hotel. According to ABC News, there may have been fireworks in the trunk of the electric car that went off and caused the Cybertruck to detonate. However, as the publication notes, the investigation does not yet know what caused the explosion. The situation is classified as a terrorist act, but the primary goal is to establish a reliable cause for the detonation of the electric car.

Matthew Leavelsberger, 37, from Colorado Springs, was presumably in the car at the time of the explosion near Trump's high-rise. Leavelsberger served in the US Army for many years - apparently, he is an intelligence manager with experience in special forces.
A large amount of pyrotechnics and gasoline cans were found in the Cybertruck electric car. Intelligence agencies are studying the connection between the terrorist attack in New Orleans and the explosion at the Trump hotel, but are in no hurry to comment.
