TikTok blogger arrested for deadly prank
A blogger in the US thought it was funny to spray stolen insect repellent on fruits and vegetables in a store. Luckily, he was arrested soon after.
A popular TikTok blogger Charles Smith has been arrested in the US for pulling a deadly prank at a Walmart supermarket, Newsweek reports.
Smith reportedly posted a video on his TikTok page where he sprayed stolen insect repellent on produce in a store, and the man thought it was a prank. Soon after, the police arrested the blogger. He was charged with distributing toxic substances, causing damage as a result of criminal acts, endangering life, and theft.
The police, commenting on the blogger's actions, said that the incident with him "highlights the potential danger of reckless actions disguised as pranks on social media."
