The Starbucks coffee shop is located in the border eco-park Aegibon, located on the site of fierce battles during the Korean War, literally 50 kilometers from Seoul, next to the observatory. 
The border between the two countries begins just a kilometer and a half away.
With binoculars, you can see North Korea's Songaksan Mountain and a modest mountain village in Kaepung County. Visitors to the establishment have to pass through a military checkpoint to get to the cafe.
About 40 people came to the opening. The owners are sure that the place will be very popular with tourists, because coffee lovers can take a look at life in the most reclusive country in the world.
