Builders destroyed a new bathroom after a client refused to pay
According to one of the builders, the homeowner gave them $15,000 for materials but refused to pay the remaining $10,000 for labor. In response, the two men decided to teach him a lesson.
A video of the incident, in which workers destroy marble surfaces, a shower stall, and a mirror, quickly attracted the attention of social media users.
"Listen, the client didn't pay us. We built him a new shower, spent all our time, but he didn't want to pay in full. He gave us $15,000 for materials, but refused to pay the remaining $10,000 for labor," one of the builders said.
He then asked his assistant to damage the bathroom. The man began smashing marble surfaces and glass elements with a sledgehammer, reducing the stylish bathroom to rubble.
The video has sparked heated discussions on social media. Some users condemned the builders' actions, calling them "irrational" and pointing out the need for contracts to protect both parties.
"Do you know about the contracts or have you never heard of them?" asked one commenter.
Other users, however, sided with the builders.
"I think it's fair if there's no other way," wrote one viewer.
