The owner of a house in Logan (Queensland, Australia) named Viola expressed her dissatisfaction with the quality of work of the construction team. She stated that the workmen's driveway did not meet national standards and refused to pay the remaining amount that was originally agreed upon.

According to the woman, the builders did what they wanted, and not what she asked them to do. And she immediately had problems with this brigade.

Construction foreman Jesse Crow told his version of events



He said he and Viola initially agreed on a bill of A$6,000 for new surfacing for the large driveway attached to the side of the house. The work was done efficiently and on time, and problems began only after the woman refused to pay the balance of the amount.



She only paid AUD 2,500 and refused to pay the rest, explaining that the work was done poorly and the workers had not removed the rubbish.

“They told me, ‘Pay now or we’ll break the concrete,’” Viola said. - And, of course, I paid. But they still refused to finish the job.”
