An Australian removed a hive with a large number of bees from a residential building (4 photos + 1 video)

25 October 2023

In the Australian state of Queensland, a beekeeper rid the residents of one of the houses of bees in the wall.

It is not unusual for bees to settle within the walls of residential buildings in search of new habitats. But homeowners are usually not happy with this situation. So these residents of Queensland (Australia) did not want to put up with small winged neighbors who had already begun to penetrate their rooms.

Fortunately, Scott Whitaker is always ready to come to the rescue, who, in addition to working as a beekeeper, also saves insects. It removes hives from undesirable locations and transports the insects to more suitable habitats.

First of all, Scott needs to get to the queen bee each time, which he marks with a marker and places separately. After this, the rest of the bees become much more accommodating about moving.

In his work, Scott uses a special vacuum cleaner that helps him catch bees without harming them. The rescuer especially notes the fact that ordinary vacuum cleaners are not suitable in this situation - they simply kill the unfortunate honey plants.
