Good deeds are always inspiring. At the school janitor Oklahoma City, USA, a car broke down not long ago. The man was forced walk to work for 2.5 hours one way - but he does not work threw. Upon learning of his situation, the principal of the school decided to help.
Troy Henderson is a janitor at Fillmore Elementary School in Oklahoma City, USA. Not so long ago, a man's car broke down, and he started walk to work - rather hike back and forth to his home in the city Moore took about five hours. When the school became aware of his situation, the director decided to start raising funds for a new car for watchman. Henderson himself is known at school for his positive attitude and diligence: he is loved by both students and colleagues. When asked at interview about the long drive from home, he replied:
"Yes, not everyone wants to get up at five in the morning so that get to work. But I decided that I would work no matter what. I must continue, for the sake of the children. I love what I do," said the man.
Upon learning of the caretaker's situation, Principal Cindy Lang immediately launched a fundraiser on the GoFundMe website. School staff quickly joined, and they even managed to collect more than the planned amount: it was originally planned to raise $5,000, but at the moment the community raised over $13,000. According to director, the money remaining from the purchase of the car will go to insurance and taxes.
Soon Henderson was handed a new car - and he was happy with this gift. Now the watchman happily goes to work on new car, and very grateful to my colleagues. According to them, he totally deserves it:
"Troy is the sweetest person. Everyone loves him - the kids, the staff. You can ask him to do anything, and he will do it with a smile on the face. I am happy that everyone showed him the love that he really deserves it," said the headmaster.
