The legend of world music was 91 years old. Quincy Jones became famous for producing the best-selling album in music history, Michael Jackson's Thriller. During his career, Jones received 27 Grammy statuettes and was nominated 79 times. He also collaborated with Frank Sinatra and helped arrange Ella Fitzgerald's songs. He released 27 studio albums, several of which went platinum. The last one ("Sanford & Son") was released in 2010. He also wrote more than 80 soundtracks for films.
