Agree, taking the perfect photo of your pet is not easy. First, you need to choose the angle and position your pet correctly, and then manage to take a photo before it moves. It seems like an impossible task. If you are a millisecond late, you will only get a blurry spot. But sometimes you get hilarious shots!
Think you don’t have the necessary equipment or skills to take truly worthy photos of your pet? You don’t have to be an experienced photographer to do this.
1.
The first thing to consider is lighting, preferably natural. Professionals say that the ideal time for shooting outdoors is the golden hour. This is the period of the day shortly after sunrise or before sunset. If this is not possible, choose shade. And if you are indoors, make sure your pet is standing in front of a window.
2.
Background matters too.
"Coffee cups, cell phones, computers, chargers, and other everyday objects can be distracting," photographer Terry Jay writes on her blog.
3.
Your furry friend should be the only object that attracts the eye! You can choose a background that contrasts with the color of the fur. This way, your four-legged friend will stand out even more!
4.
Terry Jay recommends getting closer to your pet rather than using the zoom function if you don't want to lose the quality of the portrait.
5.
The focus should be on your pet's eyes, the most expressive part of the face. "This will help draw attention to the emotion and make the photo more interesting," says Terry J.
