A father of two children spends the night in a tent in the middle of the garden in order to get a good night's sleep (5 photos)

Stuart is a high school teacher and is busy from morning to night, while his children demand too much of his attention.





Dad-of-two Stuart Hamilton, 38, pitched a tent in his garden and sleeps outside to get a good night's sleep. His wife Chloe, 33, was shocked by the decision, but now she understands it saved their marriage.



The man reportedly wanted privacy because his two-year-old son Fabian and newborn baby were making too much noise.

"At first I was afraid that my loved one would leave me. Then I thought he was going through a midlife crisis," Chloe shared her thoughts.

According to her, Stuart works as a secondary school teacher and is busy from morning until evening, and the children require a lot of attention from him.





The man borrowed the creative idea from the book "Microadventures" by Alastair Humphreys, who gives advice and tips on how to become more resilient while raising children.

"I fully support Stuart's decision, no matter how many eyebrows our neighbors raise when they see his tent on our lawn," says Chloe, who lives with her family in Cambridge (UK).

The mother of two insists that she does not feel abandoned at all. Moreover, since the man started getting a good night's sleep, he is full of energy and starts the day in a much better mood.



"At that moment, I realized that parents' mental health is simply not talked about enough. We are more patient with each other, and we can also communicate better," the woman sums up, adding that moving to the campsite was the right decision to maintain their relationship.

She hopes that her lover will return to the house when the children are older.
