Near Konstantinovka Russian Su-25 aircraft shot down. There are versions that it is not an airplane, but a heavy UAV S-70 Okhotnik
On the afternoon of October 5, 2024, a Russian aircraft was shot down in the Donetsk region. At first, it was reported that a Su-25 aircraft had allegedly been shot down, but later information began to appear on social networks that a heavy drone, the Okhotnik S-70, had actually been destroyed during its testing.
As reported by Censor.NET, the head of the Konstantinovka GVA, Sergei Gorbunov, informed the Suspilne Donbas publication about this by telephone.
"Part of the debris fell around the city of Konstantinovka. The debris also fell in the private sector - several private houses were damaged. There were no victims or injured in this incident," the report says.
Social networks reported that a Su-25 had been shot down.
Subsequently, Russian propagandists, as well as Ukrainian Telegram channels, began to claim that a heavy drone, the Okhotnik S-70, had indeed been destroyed. In particular, Ukrainian military man Stanislav Bunyatov reported about the downed drone in the Telegram channel "Speak Sniper".
There is no official confirmation of the information yet.
