Russian raid tug Saturn was destroyed in occupied Crimea, - GUR MO
On June 6, 2024, GUR special forces destroyed the Russian Project 498 tug "Saturn" or "Proteus" in temporarily occupied Crimea. This was reported by the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region, Censor.NET reports.
“On June 6, 2024, a special unit of the 9th Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, off the coast of temporarily occupied Crimea, carried out a successful strike on the Russian raid tug of Project 498 “Saturn” or “Proteus”,” the message says.
As a result of the operation in the waters of Lake Panskoe, another ship of the Russian invaders was destroyed.
“The destructive fire defeat was inflicted after the successful breakthrough of the line of defensive barriers of the occupiers in the Black Sea waters,” the Ukrainian intelligence service added.
