Scouts and artillerymen destroyed the Russian Buk air defense system in the Zaporozhye direction

Last week, on March 28, 2024, soldiers of the special forces unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine “Kabul 9” in the Zaporozhye direction of the front discovered a Russian Buk anti-aircraft missile system and directed our artillery fire at it. The enemy Buk air defense system was destroyed.

A video of the destruction of the Russian Buk air defense system in the Zaporozhye direction was posted by the telegram channel of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on April 2, Censor.NET reports.

"Buk" is a self-propelled anti-aircraft missile system designed to combat maneuvering aerodynamic targets, such as cruise missiles, guided bombs, airplanes, helicopters and UAVs.

It hits targets at low and medium altitudes - from 30 m to 14-18 km. Works even in conditions of intense radio interference.
