Louisiana State Police reported that they detained a 10-year-old boy. He is suspected of double murder: 82-year-old Joe Cornelius Sr. and his daughter, 31-year-old Keisha Miles.

This Cornelius is the former mayor of Minden.



The body of the former mayor was found in his house. His deceased daughter was lying nearby. Both were riddled with bullets, and two pistols with empty clips were lying nearby. There was also a 6-year-old boy in the house, he was not hurt.

The police rushed to search for the criminal and detained him on the spot. He turned out to be a 10-year-old relative of the murdered men. The degree of kinship has not yet been disclosed.
