Off-road enthusiasts and thrill-seekers gathered in the sand dunes of Silver Lake in Grand Rapids, Michigan. While storming a sand dune hill, a 21-year-old motorcyclist collided with a Jeep Cherokee SUV coming up the other side of the hill. There were several observers at the top, but none of them noticed the approaching car. The result was a broken spine, a punctured lung and a concussion. The driver of the car was not injured.
