Updated Hyundai Creta to get 7-seater interior and panoramic roof (13 photos)
Hyundai has announced the changes that occurred during the restyling in the interior of the Alcazar crossover — in India, this is the name of the extended version of the Creta model with a seven-seater interior. The interior of the SUV has undergone serious changes compared to the previous modification, but is almost no different from the interior of the already updated Hyundai Creta for the local market.
Like the Creta, the Hyundai Alcazar received a new front panel, which integrates two 10.25-inch displays. Unlike the two-row SUV, the Alcazar can be purchased with a two-tone interior with a combination of brown and dark blue.
The company reports more comfortable seats and a revised layout. For example, the Alcazar, as before, will be available with two separate seats in the second row, but now there is no center console installed between them. This made it easier to access the third row and provide the seats with individual armrests. The headrests of the seats have been enlarged. Among other advantages of the six-seater version are ventilation of the middle row seats and additional wireless charging.
The engine range will retain the 1.5-liter gasoline and diesel turbo engines with 160 and 115 horsepower, respectively. Both are combined with a six-speed manual transmission in the base, with a robotic transmission for the gasoline engine and an automatic transmission for the diesel engine as an alternative. Prices for the updated Alcazar will be announced on September 9.
