The tourists bought a lottery ticket on the way to the rented apartment and after some time found out that it was a winning one. After that, the family forgot about a normal vacation, because they were constantly worried about losing money.





The tourists went on vacation to the southwest of France, when they suddenly hit the jackpot in the lottery in the amount of 26 million euros, but they were unable to enjoy their long-awaited vacation.

We are talking about a married couple who went to France and on the way to their rented accommodation bought a lottery ticket in the commune of Bagnères-de-Bigorre.

On July 19, it became known that the ticket was not only a winning one, but also fatal for the couple of tourists. They became the owners of 26 million euros, but the adventures did not end there.

The family wanted to remain anonymous, because they were afraid of being left without money. They kept the ticket itself close to them, and this led to the fact that they were unable to have a normal rest.

"It was unreal. We could not sleep at night, we kept it in bed, and also took it with us to the beach and swam in turns. In our apartment, we even hid it under a stack of plates and in the furniture," the winners say.

The tourists had several weeks to confirm their winnings, and after their vacation, on August 7, they exchanged their ticket for a huge check with the winnings.

"We are happy to know that we will be able to do good around us, help our families who sometimes need it, pamper our loved ones and travel with them," the tourists said at the end.
