Larry Joe Bird (born December 7, 1956) is an American former professional basketball player who played his entire 13-year NBA career with the Boston Celtics.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NBA history, Bird was named NBA Most Valuable Player three times (1984, 1985, 1986), was named to the NBA All-Star First Team nine times (1980–1988), and was named to the NBA All-Star Team 12 times. . (1980–1988, 1990). He is also a two-time NBA champion (1981, 1984) and three-time NBA Finals MVP (1981, 1984, 1986).
