A living statue was accidentally hit on the head (5 photos + 2 videos)
That awkward moment when the prank didn't go according to plan! A serial prankster decided to impersonate a statue and scare shoppers in a shopping center a little. Either they saw through him, or he got used to the role too well, but one of those passing by suddenly decided to practice a kick to the head on him.
An Australian prankster known online as Shah Vlog disguised himself as a statue and positioned himself on a bench at the Rundle Mall in Adelaide, South Australia. Shah Vlog has gained a cult following on social media for his pranks in which he scares unsuspecting adults and children by posing as either a statue or a bush.
However, this time the joke did not go according to script - a man approached him and kicked him in the head. The blogger shared a video of the reactions to his prank from shoppers at Rundle Mall, including the instantly remorseful bully.
“Oh damn, I thought you were a statue. I am so sorry. I’m so sorry,” he said.
Social media users condemned the man for his action. Many said it was wrong to kick public property.
“Even if it’s a statue, you have no right to kick it,” one user commented.
“But why do this at all? Just damaging property for fun? I hope he never does this again,” added a second.
“Why are you already an adult and kicking a statue like you’re 10 years old? Where is there any logic?” commented a third.
A fourth added: “It's great that he apologized like that, but honestly why bother doing that? People don't respect anything."
Some suggested that the man knew that the statue was a person and deliberately filmed himself hitting it on the head.
“This redneck knew, look at his smile before the blow,” one commented.
“He definitely knew. And kept the camera ready,” wrote a second.
A third added: "The fact that he filmed the punch suggests he knew."
But there were those who defended the man, arguing that his sincere reaction proved his ignorance.
And what do you think? Spontaneous kick or planned attack?
