In the town of Lumut, 10 people were killed when two helicopters collided and crashed. The incident occurred during preparations for a naval parade.
One helicopter touched the propeller of another during a maneuver. One of the cars fell on the territory of the stadium, and the second near the swimming pool of the Navy sports complex. All the dead were crew members. Seven people were on board the AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter, and three more were on board the Airbus H125M Fennec helicopter (M502-6).
